Shutter speed

SHUTTER

the shutter specs along with the aperture of the lens also called (f-number) the shutter speed determines how fast the light reaches the film of sensor. Basically the exposure is measured in unit of exposure valve sometimes called stop reperesenting a halving or doubling of the exposure. The shutter can be writen on your screen as 1/400 which is 1 400th of a second is really quick or even 1/8 which is 1 8th of a  second which is slower. The higher the number the less exposer you get in your photo the lower the number the more exposer you get in your photo 
high shutter speed 1/1250 of a second                       low shutter speed 1/8



This is the difference between a high shutter speed and a low shutter speed
